In ONE simple sentence, the Vision of the fellowship is to "Draw men to Christ".
Founded by Mr. Damos Shakarian - a wealthy American Dairy farmer in 1952. He noticed that the church was more populated with women and children as the men only made it a duty to drop their families at church and retire to other recreational activities. This discovery sparked a lot of questions and worry in his heart and after seeking the face and voice of God, he was directed to establishing the fellowship.
Full Gospel (as is popularly called for short), exists in over 200 countries in the world. In Nigeria alone, there exists over 3000 chapters (3100 active chapters to be precise). In Abuja, there are over 200 chapters and many are still yet to be inaugurated.
Though referred to as a "Businessmen's fellowship", the importance of our female counterparts can not be overemphasized. The women in the fellowship give us the added spice and required blend to enable us better achieve the Vision and for that we are forever in the debt of our ladies.
