Your Domain
April 11, 2014
"For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive God's overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness; putting them into right standing with Himself, reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)" (Rom. 5:17 AMP).
In the time when Paul wrote this, kings reigned over certain countries or domains. You are to reign in your domain too. This doesn't mean you're to reign and rule over other people, but you're to rule and reign in your life, your dominion. You're to rule and reign over circumstances, poverty, sickness, disease - everything that would hinder. You're to reign because you have authority!
How do you have it? Through the One, Jesus Christ. Don't let the devil cheat you out of the blessings God intended you should have. God never intended that you should be poverty stricken and destitute. He didn't intend that the devil should rule and reign over your family and dominate them. Just get angry at the devil. Tell him, "Take your hands off of my children! You've got no right here. I'm ruling over this domain!" If he says anything about it, quote him Romans 5:17.
Confession: I reign in my domain. I have the authority to do so. I reign by the One, Jesus Christ. The enemy cannot rule over my family. He cannot rule over me!

Don't Try To Figure God Out
April 11, 2014
...Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
(1 John 4:4)
Many people jump over into the arena of reason and try to figure God out.
For example, they'll think, "Why did God heal the blind woman instantly and not the little boy?" I don't understand that. They'll sit around and try to figure it out in their head and miss their own healing.
Don't ever try to figure God out. We can't figure Him out in our little peanut brain! We should just go ahead and rejoice in what He does do, whether it's instantaneous or over a period of time.
The problem is not with God. In the case of the blind woman and the little boy, one of them probably took hold of healing instantly, and the other probably took hold of it gradually.
You see, oftentimes, the healing power of God is administered to a person, and the healing process becomes evident later on. Healing is by degrees and it is based on two conditions.
First, it is based on the degree of healing power administered. Second, it is based on the degree of faith that gives action to the healing power administered.
Sometimes the healing power of God is administered to a person to such a degree that the person is supernaturally charged with the power of God, just as a person might be charged with electricity. And yet no real or final healing takes place until something happens that releases the faith of the individual.
Spirit-filled believers should be conscious of the healing power of God and the life of God that is in them (see 1 John 4:4). They can do it if they'll wait on God, meditate on His Word, and pray.
Confession:
The life of God is in me. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 11TH APRIL, 2014 THEME: AN ASSET, NOT A LIABILITY.
MEMORISE : Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Corinthians. 3: 16.
READ : ACTS 27 : 31 – 36.
31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.
35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.
36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR : DANIEL 9 – 10; PSALM 78 : 55 – 72.
Every child of God is meant to be carrying divine treasure on the inside. This is true because you cannot be born-again except the Holy Spirit comes into you. The Holy Spirit is a divine treasure given to us as a deposit guaranteeing us of things to come ( Ephesians 1 : 13 – 14 ). Besides this, the Bible reveals that though we are earthen, we are carrying inside of us great treasure. This treasure gives heavenly abilities – abilities above the natural. We have these abilities because of the presence of God in us. We are therefore the temple of God (1 Corinthians 3 : 16 ). With this status, every child of God has got something to offer as an answer to every sense of loss among men. Rather than being the answer to problems, many children of God have become problems themselves within different circles and their communities. In the church itself, some children of God have no other business besides peddling both founded and unfounded rumours. For some, their business is to criticize; for some others, it is to analyse why the vision of the leader is not realistic. This is not supposed to be so, and except such individuals repent and turn a new leaf, they are toying with Hell; besides, they cannot enjoy the favour of God here on earth.
You as a child of God should not despise or belittle the great things you are capable of doing to turn the lives of individuals, families, towns, cities and countries around by the presence of Jesus in you. It is not about your physical build, human intellect or wisdom; it’s about Jesus in you. I want you to know that though you may look small in your own eyes, there are lives only you can affect (as God has pre-ordained) and they are waiting for you. In Acts 27 : 27 – 44, Paul was but a prisoner on board a ship transporting him and other prisoners to Rome. The leaders of the voyage were the trained captain and sailors who were to pilot the ship safely to its destination – Rome. However, when trouble came by reason of a storm that would not abate, with death on the horizon, it was Paul, a prisoner with no proficiency in the art of sailing that became the situational leader. He was able to perform this role because of Jesus in Him. He only needed to commune with his Father. Thus, he brought hope and solution to the trepidation of the moment. You can be the leader for the moment by being the solution to that naughty issue or to that life-threatening experience of that couple. You can bring tears of joy rather than the tears of sorrow being experienced by that brother, sister or neighbour. These you will achieve if only you realise that you are not a liability but an asset needing to be unbundled.
ACTION POINT :
Prayerfully compose a list of individuals and or families for your intercession and those to reach for Christ.

Flee From You
April 9, 2014
"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
Every passage in the New Testament that deals with the devil always instructs you and me to do something about the devil. New Testament believers are never told to pray that God would do something about the devil!
In James 4:7 "you" is the understood subject of the sentence "You resist the devil and he will flee from you." Notice it's not, "Pray to God for Him to do something about the devil." Nor is it, "Pray that Jesus won't let the devil get you."
Also notice that the Bible doesn't say, "When you feel like it, you can resist the devil, and it will work for you." No. Whether you feel like it or not, the authority still belongs to you. You can't feel authority; you just exercise it!
I once sensed in my spirit that there was special significance about the word "flee" in James 4:7. In a huge dictionary I found the definition that seemed to fit what my spirit called for: "To flee: to run from as in terror."
Act on James 4:7. Don't just consider it as a fairy tale, but as the Word of God, which is to be acted upon. If you'll act on it, the devil and all his cohorts will run from you as in terror!
Confession: I resist the devil according to God's Word. The devil runs from me as in terror. He's scared to death of Jesus Christ, so he's scared to death of me!

Some Instant Manifestations
April 9, 2014
And [Jesus] said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent). He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. (John 9:7)
The previous verse says, "When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay" (John 9:6). Jesus spat on the ground and made clay out of His "spittle" or saliva. He then rubbed it into the blind man's eyes and said, "Go wash it off in the pool of Siloam."
The blind man obeyed and came out seeing! Was this blind man healed instantly - was he healed right on the spot when Jesus ministered to him? No. Let me ask you another question. Would this blind man have been healed if he had not done what Jesus told him to do? No.
This blind man "went his way" - he went to the pool of Siloam as Jesus instructed - washed, and came out seeing. That infers that if he had not gone his way and washed, he would not have been cured. What if he had said, "Well, you know, there's an angel every now and then who troubles the water over at the pool of Bethesda. Why not go over there?" Would he have been healed? No.
I was holding a meeting one time, and a blind woman was sitting right in front of the pulpit. I laid hands on her, the power of God came upon her, and she fell on the floor under the power of God. When she got up, her face was shining like a new moon, like a neon sign at night! And she was yelling, "I can see! I can see!" She was instantly healed. I learned later that she had been totally blind for three or four years.
We should have some instant healings like this, because folks had them in the early church, as recorded in the New Testament. But, on the other hand, often if a person doesn't receive an instant manifestation, he might think that God was not in his laying-on-of-hands experience. But that's not so. He needs to "go his way" in obedience to the Lord; he needs to keep the switch of faith turned on.
Confession:
I choose to believe what the Bible says. Some people are healed instantly, and others are healed gradually. But, thank God, healing is for me!

Memorise:
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Matthew 11:29
Read: Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR : DANIEL 4:34-6:28 and PSALM 78:17-39
Message
A call is an invitation to something higher than an individual and there are two parties involved in it; these are the caller and the called. A classic example of the divine call is what we find in Matthew 11:28-29. Here God is the caller and the called is all men. This is a call unto salvation; it is universal in scope. It hinges on John 3:16. It is a call from the heart of God, out of deep concern for man to not self-destruct. He calls out to man, telling them that He has provided a means of escape from the wrath to come. It is popularly said: to be forewarned is to be forearmed. Only the wise would get prepared when warned ahead of danger. It is amazing how some who are considered to be wise and intelligent in this world by their level of education prove to be foolish when it comes to the divine warning on the destruction of man, unless he receives the divine call to salvation.
Congratulations to those who have received the divine call to salvation, for they are the children of the Most High God. They are in favour with the ultimate decider of the fate of men. They are now heirs of God and joint heirs with the Lord Jesus Christ. We all must understand that within the larger group of those that have received the universal basic call to salvation are some who are called for some specific purpose. Such includes those called to service as Pastors, Apostles, Evangelists, Prophets and Missionaries to specific locations, etc. Although you may not be so called, you should not be ignorant of the fact that some other divine calls are general to us all.
Every one of us is called to pray (1Thessalonians 5:17). The business of prayer is not to be left to a group of prayer warriors. Every one of us is called to watch (Matthew 24:42). You are called as a child of God to be on your toes and not to be careless. Not heeding this call can be disastrous. This will not be your experience in Jesus’ Name. Also, every one of us is called to fast (Matthew 9:14-15). There is no provision in the word of God for prayer and fast contracting. Besides, we are all called to be of helps to our leaders, particularly in prayers (1 Thessalonians 5:25, 2 Corinthians 10:11). Every one of us is called to win souls (Mark 16:15). Note that those who will survive in the time of trouble are soul winners. We all are called to be generous (Luke 6:38). Finally, every one of is called to holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:7).
Action Point
Thank God for the salvation of your soul. If you are not yet saved, kneel down now and call upon the Lord as a sinner for salvation.

The Works That I Do
April 4, 2014
Now it came to pass on a certain day, that Jesus went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, "Let us go over unto the other side of the lake." And they launched forth. But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, "Master, master, we perish." Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And he said unto them, "Where is your faith?" (Luke 8:22-25)
John Alexander Dowie was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and moved to Australia as a young man. In 1875, while Dowie was pastoring a Congregational church in Newton, Australia, a terrible plague swept through that part of the country. It was during this plague that Dowie first received light on divine healing and the authority that believers possess.
I read that Dowie once said, "I have crossed the ocean fourteen times by ship. During those fourteen crossings, many storms arose. But every time a storm came up, I always did like Jesus did: I rebuked that storm. And every single one ceased."
Dowie knew that Jesus had said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." Dowie knew that he was linked up with God. You and I are linked up with God just as much as Dowie or anyone else ever was.
Confession: I believe on Jesus. The works that Jesus did on the earth, I can do. Jesus said I could, so I can.

Healing Throughout the Bible
April 4, 2014
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
(1 John 3:8)
The works of the devil include sin and sickness. Jesus was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38).
Sickness does not come from God. Sickness does not come from Heaven. There isn't any sickness up there. No, sickness comes from the devil.
I remember a Baptist minister saying to me once, "You know, Brother Hagin, I just read the New Testament through for the second time. I'm saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. God is blessing me. I believe in healing and I know God heals. I pray for the sick. But I can't see healing in the Bible like you do. I just read it through twice and I can't see it."
I said to him, "Well, you know, it doesn't have to say h-e-a-l-i-n-g. I see physical healing in almost every page of the Bible. For instance, in what we call the Lord's Prayer, Jesus said, 'After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven' (Matt. 6:9-10).
"I see healing right there because there isn't any sickness in Heaven. And Jesus said for us to pray that His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. If you're sick, you'd have to get healed for His will to be done."
This Baptist minister decided to read the New Testament for the third time. Afterward, he told me that he began to see healing in every chapter. Praise God! It's in there!
Confession:
Sickness doesn't come from Heaven. There isn't any sickness up there. Healing comes from Heaven. And healing belongs to me!

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 4TH APRIL, 2014 THEME: WHY THE WORLD RAGES
Memorise:
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.
Luke 21:17
Read: Luke 6:22-23
22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.
23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR : EZEKIEL 42:1-44:14 and PSALM 76
Message
The Psalmist in Psalm 69:8 wrote:
“I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children.”
Why this sorry situation? He gives the reason in Psalm 69:9:
“For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.”
This is equally the lamentation of those who would live a righteous life in this world. The world is becoming more ungodly than ever before. Wickedness is becoming the accepted norm of our society. Worldliness is the order of the day in present day Christianity. Ruminating on this reality, one cannot but ask the following questions: If this continues, is there any hope for godly living? For how long would the wicked continue to hold sway in our society? The answers to these questions are: this ugly situation will not continue perpetually, there is hope for those who are on the Lord’s side, and a doomsday of judgement awaits the ungodly.
When you decide to live a godly life, there is bound to be persecution from the ungodly. The most painful aspect of this is that, the ungodly who once were outside the Church are not just in Church today, but are also taking positions and are “persecuting” those who are trying to go the extra mile for the Master. The Lord in our Bible reading foretold the persecutions, shunning and reproach that will befall those who will live godly lives in this world. He did this in order to comfort us. The Psalmist also was perplexed by this situation until he received insight from God.
“Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.”
Psalm 73:12&16-18
Our Lord Jesus Christ explained to us the reason why the world will hate us in John15:19:
“If ye were of the world, the world would love is own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
Beloved, in spite of all these, keep your eyes on the Lord. Every persecution ends at His coming. To someone using this devotional, the Lord is encouraging you to endure the present persecution you are facing. The next phase of your life is all-round promotion. Praise the Lord.
Prayer Point:
Father, give me the grace to identify with you

Because I Go
April 3, 2014
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father" (John14:12).
Dr. John Alexander Dowie (1847-1907) was used by God to reintroduce divine healing to the modern Church. Dr. P.C. Nelson, founder of Southwestern Assemblies of God College, said, "You can't follow Dowie's doctrine, but you can follow his faith."
I heard Dr. Nelson tell about how when he himself was a young Baptist minister, he saw Dowie minister to a woman with a purplish-blue cancerous growth that covered most of her face.
Nelson said, "I saw Dowie, in the presence of us six denominational ministers and three medical doctors, just reach out and take hold of that cancer, saying, 'In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!' And then strip it off that woman's face. The doctors present examined her immediately, and said the skin on her face was like the skin of a newborn baby."
The reason Jesus gave was so those who believe on Him would be able to do the works He did, because He did go unto His Father. It's because of Jesus' seating at the right hand of the Father on High in the place of authority that believers can do these same works.
Confession: I believe on Jesus. Because Jesus went to His Father and mine, and is seated at the right hand of Majesty on High, and I am seated with Him. I can do the works of my Father, in Jesus' Name.

Resist Sickness Just as You Resist Condemnation
April 3, 2014
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
(Rom. 8:1)
Sickness doesn't have any right to impose itself upon us. And Satan, who is the author of sickness and disease, doesn't have any right to put sickness and disease on us. Why?
Because we're free! And when symptoms of sickness or disease come, all we need to do is treat them exactly the same as we would treat our old sins. It's the easiest thing in the world to do.
You see, the devil may try to put you under condemnation by reminding you of your past sins. But you can say, "Satan, there is therefore now no condemnation to me, for I am in Christ Jesus." Jesus has dealt with those sins and put them away.
And you can say to Satan, "You can't get them. Jesus put those sins away. He hid them in the depths of the sea - in the sea of forgetfulness."
God said, "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins" (Isa. 43:25).
The devil has brought pictures to my mind of things I've done in the past. He's said, "Look at what you did." And I've said to him, "Ha, ha, Mr. Devil. I sure did. You're right. But God forgave me and blotted them all out and put them as far away from me as the east is from the west" (Ps. 103:12).
But if you don't know the truth - that once you ask for forgiveness, you are cleansed from all sin - the devil will keep bringing pictures of your past mistakes, and it will rob you of faith and hold you under condemnation. But when you know the truth, you can laugh at the devil.
Confession:
Father, I resist symptoms of sickness and disease just as I resist condemnation. I know that sickness, disease, and condemnation all come from the devil. And I resist what comes from him and receive Your health, healing, and freedom today!

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, 3RD APRIL, 2014 THEME: DESIRING LONGEVITY & PROSPERITY?
MEMORISE : Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Ephesians 6 : 1.
READ : EPHESIANS 6 : 1 – 3.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR : EZEKIEL 40 – 41; PSALM 75.
Most people want to live long on the earth no matter what their current situation is; be it good, bad or ugly. Why is this so? The reason is that most people hope that their tomorrow will be alright, and they do not want to die before that tomorrowcomes. It is unfortunate that many people, especially the youths, do not know and are not shown the secret of long life and prosperity. This is hidden in the word of God. From our scripture reading, apart from saying it is right to obey our parents in the Lord, the word of God goes further to announce the rewards of doing so. Of all the commandments God gave to mankind, this is the first commandment with promises attached. Promises of what? Promises of long life and prosperity! This is interesting, particularly for those who want to live long and prosper on this earth which the Lord has given to us to occupy.
What other things apart from honouring father and mother must I do to prosper, you may ask? You must get revelations on what to do per time by meditating on the word of God. The Bible in Joshua 1 : 8 says :
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
The word of God contains several principles of God that will guarantee your prosperity. It contains wisdom on what to do in every situation of life. You however unlock the treasures hidden in the word by meditating on it. This is the reason why every child of God must not only read but also meditate in order to do the things that are written in the word of God.
It is a blessing to live our lives according to the word of God. I pray for you that you will not miss out on this blessing in Jesus’ Name. Failure, frustration and death will be far from you if you can live in the fear of the Lord. Beloved, it is your time to experience astonishing prosperity with long life. This type of prosperity does not kill. Make sure you live in perfect obedience to your parents, particularly in the Lord. That is, obey your biological parents as they teach you the way of the Lord. Also, you need to obey your spiritual parents as they feed you with the undiluted word of God. It is well with you in Jesus’ Name.

Under Our Feet
April 2, 2014
"And set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all" (Eph. 1:20-23).
The Church is the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are the Body of Christ.
Now for a question: Where are the feet? Are they in the head, or are they in the body? They're in the body, of course.
Look again at today's text. It describes positionally where we are seated.
God has put all things under Christ's feet. Christ's feet are in His Body. Therefore, all things have been put under our feet!
What are the "all things" Paul is talking about? Principalities, powers, might, and dominion. In other words, all the power of the enemy is under our feet!
Someone has said that if we have anything to say to Satan, we should write it on the bottoms of our shoes!
Confession: I am seated with Christ in heavenly places. I am a member in particular of the Body of Christ. All the power of the enemy is under my feet!

The Whole Bible Is True
April 2, 2014
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
(1 Peter 2:24)
Church people everywhere believe that Jesus bore their sins. But many of them don't believe that He bore their sicknesses as well. The Bible says that Jesus bore our sins and our sicknesses.
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and BARE OUR SICKNESSES.
(Matt. 8:17)
Who his own self BARE OUR SINS in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
(1 Peter 2:24)
Jesus not only bore our sins, He also bore our sicknesses. That settles it! Why look for a way around this great truth? Yet so many people do.
But if Matthew 8:17 and First Peter 2:24 are lies, then the whole Bible is a lie. And if the Bible is a lie, then there is no God, and Jesus Christ is not the Son of God. He would be a fraud and a fake.
Then, of course, the New Testament would not be true. And the Old Testament would be a fable. There would be no God, no Heaven, and no hell.
But, hallelujah, there is a God! And the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God! And the Old Testament is not a fable; it's true. And the New Testament is true. The whole Bible is true! Jesus not only bore our sins, He also took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.
Confession:
Jesus bore my sins. It is the will of God for me to be saved and delivered from sin. Jesus also bore my sicknesses. Therefore, it is the will of God that I be healed and delivered from sickness!

Seated Together
April 1, 2014
"Even when we were dead in sins, God hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Eph. 2:5-6).
The very act that raised the Lord from the dead also raised His Body. (The head and the body are naturally raised together.)
Furthermore, the very act that seated Christ also seated His Body. Where are we sitting? In heavenly places! Right now! We're not going to sit there sometime; God has made us sit together now in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Christ is seated at the Father's own right hand. Therefore, we are seated at the Father's own right hand! (The right hand is the place of authority. God carries out all of His plan and program through His right hand - through Christ, through His spiritual Body, which is the Church.)
The right hand of the throne of Majesty in the heavens is the center of power of the whole universe (Heb. 8:1)! The exercising of the power of that throne was committed to the ascended Christ and that authority belongs to us.
Confession: God has quickened me with Christ. God has raised me up together with Him. God has made me sit together with Christ in heavenly places. As I go about in the earth, working with God in carrying out His plan, I am seated, as far as authority goes, at the Father's right hand.

Jesus is the Word of God
April 1, 2014
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
(Ps. 107:20)
Under the Old Testament, the Word that God sent was spoken through the prophets. Under the New Testament, the Word He sent was the Lord Jesus Christ.
John's Gospel says,
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
(John 1:1-3)
Then verse 14 says, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us...." The Lord Jesus Christ is called "The Word."
So how did God send His Word to heal you? He sent Jesus to take your infirmities and bear your sicknesses (Matt. 8:17). In the mind of God, you're already healed. First Peter 2:24 says, "...by whose stripes ye WERE healed."
God sent His Word and healed you. If you need healing, I dare you to hold fast to that confession and not say anything to the contrary. Don't say, "Yeah, but I'm hurting."
I guarantee you that if you'll hold fast to that one confession and not negate it by saying, "But I still have this and I still have that," you'll be all right. Your symptoms will disappear.
Now it won't work if you try it for a day or two. God's Word works by acting on it confidently and consistently.
God's Word works by being a doer of it. Act like God's Word is so, because it is! Since He sent His Word and healed you, count it as done in your life and act like it!
Confession:
God sent His Word and healed me. Therefore, I no longer have ___________ (fill in the particular sickness or disease). He sent His Word and healed me!

Raised Together
March 31, 2014
"And what is the exceeding greatness of his power, which he wrought in Christ, WHEN HE WHO RAISED HIM from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, AND YOU hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins" (Eph. 1:19-20, 2:1).
If you were to open your Bibles to Ephesians 2:1, a King James Version would look something like this: "AND you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins." When a word is italicized in the King James Version, that means the word is not in the original manuscripts; the translators have added it. So the original reads, "And you who were dead in trespasses and sins."
I wanted you to see that the verb which controls Ephesians 2:1 is back in Ephesians1:20! (Paul didn't write in chapter and verse; men divided Paul's writings later for easy reference.) Our text today makes it clearer for you. Notice the capitalized words: "WHEN HE, GOD, RAISED HIM, Christ, from the dead. AND raised YOU…who were dead in trespasses and sins."
The same verb that expresses the reviving of Christ also expresses the reviving of Christ's people! So the mighty act of God which raised Christ from the dead also raised His Body!
Confession: The same mighty Power that raised Jesus from the dead also raised me!

Possess the Land!
March 31, 2014
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples [examples]: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
(1 Cor. 10:11)
The Bible teaches us that what happened to those in the Old Testament happened as examples for us. For example, God delivered Israel out of Egypt, which symbolizes the world, and led them into Canaan's land. What does Canaan's land symbolize?
In the early years, I was taught that Canaan's land was a type or foreshadowing of Heaven. But how could Canaan's land ever symbolize Heaven since there aren't going to be any battles or enemies in Heaven? There are no giants there who are against us, no cities to take, and no battles to fight in Heaven!
I believe that Canaan's land is a type of the baptism in the Holy Ghost and of our rights and privileges in Christ Jesus, including divine healing.
God said to Israel, "I give you the land" (Joshua 1:2), and when they crossed over Jordan into Canaan's land, God said, "Every place that the sole of your foot treads shall be yours" (Joshua 1:3). Although God said that He had given the land to them, He also said they had to possess it by walking through it and taking it.
In the same way, God has given us as Christians the land—the blessing of God—but we have to possess it. Although He has provided healing for us, we must possess it.
You can read the Bible and find out what is legally yours—what actually belongs to you—but until you accept it, until you possess it, it will never become yours to enjoy. So first, read the Bible to find out what is legally yours. Then possess those things so that they become a vital part of your life.
Confession
I know that healing belongs to me because Jesus paid for my healing nearly two thousand years ago. As I go in and possess the land, I receive the healing that Jesus provided for me.
